My name is Steve Rose and I have been fascinated by technology since I was a child.  I always had to know how things worked and why they did what they did.

I started working in IT when I left college and I worked for many years for a large, corporate, IT company providing IT support for a wide range of customers.  At the same time I was the 'go to' person to help my friends and family with most of their home technology, from computer issues to teaching them how to set up and program their video recorders.

I am a qualified IT trainer and I have created and delivered many courses over the years from teaching IT to complete novices through to the deployment and management of operating systems and applications for large businesses.

One of my passions is home audio and video - particularly vinyl records and I have set up and maintained many audio systems over the years and have helped my friends and family to purchase the best audio equipment for their budget.
